Acorn - Signature Original Earring Style Gemstone Earrings

This is my original earring design and I make these using leaves, hearts, starfish etc. The starfish pair pictured in the right corner were featured in Step By Step Wire Magazine in 2008.I have started with two solid sterling silver acorn charms that have a nice weight to them. I hand coiled and strategically placed each gemstone. I have used larger ametrine rondelles (7mm) amethyst, green apatite and champagne citrine. Also added in for fun and whimsy are my "wire doodles" made from hand torched and coiled fine silver wire. All components hang from my fine silver hand torched and hammered ear wires. These have been oxidized, hand polished and machine tumbled to highlight and harden the silver. Total length is 1 1/2".
